Getting Here:

Driving: Nakina Air Service is located 3 miles north of Nakina on Cordingly Lake. Parking at the airbase is free and secure as there is always Nakina Air's staff at the base and they keep their eye on the vehicles.

From highway 11 turn north (15 minutes west of Longlac) on highway 584 and drive through Geraldton and head 45 miles north to Nakina. Go through the stop sign and the third street is Quebec Street. Turn left on Quebec Street. Quebec Street turns into Cordingly Lake Road. Follow that all the way to Cordingly Lake. There are a few air bases right beside each other. Nakina air is the last airbase on the drive so you go past the other air services.

Your Own Aircraft: Nakina Airport is fully equipped, having a fully paved and lit 3500'x 100' runway, NDB approach and fuel. CYQN. From the airport you can phone Nakina Taxi at (807) 329-5911 and it's a 5 minute drive to the floatplane base on Cordingly Lake.
